From an archival past, a new inspiration emerged — born from a previous life I once lived as a photographer.
It was circa 2013 when I had the opportunity to photograph "Mosh" — a commanding presence in the Pin-up, Fetish, and Alt-Glamour world. A strange time for me. I had just returned to photography after three years spent finishing a feature film.
We started shooting together regularly. As someone who takes pride in my own work ethic, I can attest — she was at the absolute top of her game. Her devotion and passion for the craft, remarkable.
Chapter 2
The fetish world is intricate fashion at its sharpest — a realm where leather, latex, and structured metal rings collide. It was this precise edge that made me fall in love with photographing Mosh.
A modern semblance of Marilyn Monroe, she embodies a persona unlike anyone else I know. To witness her work was incredible — the way she contorted her body, holding impossible, striking poses while I framed the shot through my lens.
The Mosh Bag is that intense physical discipline translated into form. The oversized O-rings carry that sharp fetish edge. The sweeping arch of the handle mirrors her dramatic physical contours. Hand-crafted one at a time from premium heritage leather just outside Portland, it is old Hollywood glamour meeting raw structural tension.

My journey into leather craft began in 2024, a pursuit that quickly consumed me. Yet, through the hours at the workbench, memories of my past life behind the lens would surface. Mosh frequently occupied my thoughts.
A burst of inspiration drove me to reach out to her. I wanted to photograph her holding a specific bag. But as we spoke, the concept shattered its boundaries and evolved into something far more fantastic.
I realized I didn't want her to just hold a purse — I wanted to build an entire design based on how her imprint has lived in my subconscious for over a decade.
The form came together effortlessly, though the physical execution demanded total devotion. Every single inch is entirely hand-stitched, including the final gussets, which require immense physical force to seamlessly bind together.
From the intricate fetish edge of the oversized O-rings to the classic Palm Springs allure, the Mosh bag is now alive.
